    Windows 10 Bluetooth devices are disconnected and reconnected intermittently


    MSI GS30 2M Shadow laptop, with 4th generation i7 processor. Since the latest Windows 10 updates, I’ve been suffering from intermittent Bluetooth disconnections affecting all Bluetooth-connected devices. The Bluetooth devices are disconnected and reconnected again, and it happens randomly. The Bluetooth is manufactured by Intel. The hardware ID is: USB \ VID_8087 & PID_07DC & REV_0001I know this happens to almost all MSI laptops from 2013 to 2018. Has anyone solved this, or has a workaround, please?

    Hi Melody,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. We understand the inconvenience caused and will assist you.

    I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    • Pair the Bluetooth device to the system.
    • Right click on the Speaker icon in the System tray and select
      Playback Devices.
    • Select the device and click on the drop down list next to Set default button.
    • Select the option to connect and disconnect from the device.

    Bluetooth devices will not reconnect after paired

    After the latest major update to windows 10, my Bluetooth headset and my Bluetooth keyboard, after pairing, will not reconnect after disconnected. These devices have always been able to reconnect for subsequent uses even after original windows 10 install.
    After this latest update, they no longer automatically reconnect. They are both listed in the devices list but will not connect. I have to remove and repair every time. Thanks for any help.

    Bluetooth Speaker Disconnect/Reconnect every 90 seconds - Windows 10

    I've been dealing with the same issue on my SP3 for a year, but now am using SP4 w/ Windows 10. This is still an issue with the intermittent reconnect to the Speaker, if the not actively playing something. Tried everything suggested and it is still a Microsoft
    Bluetooth connecting/reconnecting issue.
