Windows 10: Windows 10; Bluetooth has stuttering, cutting in and out, disconnecting, etc.

Dear Microsoft,

When I updated my Dell Precision M6600 from Windows 7 to Windows 10 hell broke loose on my Bluetooth. This laptop comes with a Broadcom card that integrates WIFI and BT together. The outdated drivers I was able to find and install do not work.

I am able to connect easily and the sound quality is decent BUT after a few minutes and every few minutes continually there is stuttering, cutting in and out, lag, and even silence and disconnecting intermittently.

This did not happen with windows 7 installed.

I have tried everything, different audio devices, uninstalling and reinstalling, disabling and re-enabling, changing settings, I have researched and tried all the solutions on the web, nothing has worked thus far...my guess is it is a driver issue as that is the only thing that has changed since upgrading.

Please help, develop a new driver, a patch, something...there are thousands of users with the same issue.

Bluetooth in windows 10

My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision

Edit: This is a dongle with old BT version I see now, but I'm sure you can find a Asus BT4.0 version.

@aasim1111 I have this one, it doesn't show that it supports A2DP in the specs but I think it'll work, otherwise send a mail to Asus and ask.

I tried these changes with my built-in BT and a BT USB dongle. Same stutter.
