  1. Windows 10 boot and reset issues *HELP*

My PC has been fine and experiencing no issues until yesterday. I turned it off, went away for a bit and when I came back it was on the windows loading screen (black screen with windows logo and blue loading circle) but completely frozen.

I restarted my PC by pressing and holding the power button and the same thing happened, over and over, although about 1 in 8 times it booted. I tried to access safe mode but the same problem was happening when launching safe mode, so I created a Windows 10 bootable USB.

When I tried booting from the USB, the same thing happened again, and it got stuck on the loading screen. After several attempts, I eventually got into safe mode through the USB and tried all the debugging I know, uninstalling updates, running CMD commands etc, and restarted my PC.

This time it worked, and I got in fine. However, after about 10 minutes the screen completely froze again and I had to restart, where yet again it got stuck on the loading screen. After several forced restarts I decided to reset the PC (keeping the files option). I did this and it seemed to be going well, got to about 18% on the screen before the screen went blank and has been so ever since (about 45 minutes).

I really need to fix this as I have online exams in just a couple of days and loads of work, so any help is really appreciated! Anyone got any ideas? Is this a Windows issue or a Hardware Issue?

    Windows 10 issues!

I had a similar issue but it only happen on older hardware, Windows would install the stock drivers which would make it nearly impossible to access the internet. Luckily I had newest Intel and Realtek NIC drivers that ran perfectly on Win 10 x64 1607 version, installing those fixed my that problem.

This also can happen on a non-fresh install of WIn 10, when you try to boot from a different computer/motherboard, after a single failed boot, Windows will try to re-detect and re-install all of the drivers, which definitely won't be the most stable or newest.

I tried everything, flushing cache, resetting router, uninstalling the device completely from the list, removing the LAN connection entirely, none of those helped.

    windows 10 slow boot

I was having a slow boot issue on my Windows 7 install a little while back. It would take about 30 - 40 extra seconds to boot up for whatever reason.

I would try following these steps, while this didn't solve my issue, it did increase Read/Write to where it should be.

In the end, I had to reinstall my Windows 7 entirely to fix the booting issue. It was taking around 35 seconds to boot, and after the fresh install it takes about 7 seconds to boot.

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:
    • Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
    • Try different keyboard or mouse.
    • Restart computer, repeatedly.
    • Google for related issues.
    • Update Bios, because why not.
    • Create boot media and revert to windows 7.
The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.
