Windows 10: windows 10 boot disk startup freezes

created iso windows 10 but freezes during startup..usb boot does the same..freezes at blue screen with dots freezing

:)

 

Can't get GPU-Z to start with Windows 8.1 startup

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

Which Hard Drive has the active partition?



You can try the following steps:



Method 1: Update the storage drivers on both Hard Drives:



Refer to this
article and select the section Storage controllers.



Method 2: In case the OS gets corrupted, perform Startup repair:

Follow the steps:

1. Boot to Advanced Startup Options.
2. Click on Troubleshoot.
3. Click on Advanced options.
4. Click on Startup Repair.
5. On the prompt, select the affected OS to perform the Startup repair.

Method 3: Perform check disk commands for Disk errors:

Refer to this article.



Note: Remove all the external devices before performing check disk.

Windows boots to the desktop then freezes

Yeah...I went to google and got the F8...lol*Stick Out Tongue ....thxxx

It boots up in safe mode and seems to work fine. Now I just need to figure out what's causing windows to freeze up befor it fully loads in normal start up operation.

Any suggestions where I might start ?
