Windows 10 booting up shows contro f raid

My computer automatic installed windows 10 newest version AU and now I get control f raid when booting up. It goes so fast that you do not get a chance to do a control f, the computer then shows a blue window image and just stays there no spinning wheel or anything else. I have to reboot it and then it takes a long time to boot up and show the welcome user screen. Before the new update the computer was fine, what can I do to correct this problem i have not installed any programs. This computer came with only Win10 installed. Also need to make a recovery disk.

Thanks for your help in advance

Windows 10 running defrag says my Raid Drive is SSD

    My system

Boot Drive is SSD which defrag show as a SSD

Drive D is a set of Raid drives which defrag shows as a SSD

Drive E is a set of Raid drives which defrag shows as Hard disk drive

Drive F is an SSD drive that is used to accelerate Drive D defrag shows as SSD

This is the exact same set-up I used with Windows 8.1 and all the drives were correctly shown as the right kind of drive.

I suspect that having Drive F to accelerate Drive D is the problem though it was not a problem in Windows 8.1. Why would they introduce a new bug in Windows 10?

Running WinSat formal had no effect on this issue.

Windows 10 - Failing to detect Hard Disc

The above suggestions did not solve this problem, but I have now found a work-around.

As stated earlier, I am running a multi-boot system with 4 OSs. 2 are on a RAID mirror system, and 2 on a non-RAID SATA disc. The PageFile/SWAP for the RAID systems are on a separate partition on the non-RAID disk.

Windows 10 was frequently failing to detect the non-RAID disk on boot-up, either leading to a failure to start the Windows 10 system on the non-RAID disc, or to the Windows 10 systems on RAID not being able to find their PageFiles or read anything on the
    non-RAID disc.

The problem appears to be with the new Windows 8/10 Boot Manager with the mouse compatible GUI. The problem has not arisen since I reverted to the legacy old command-line driven Vista/Windows7 boot manager.

It is obviously nice to have a modern mouse compatible GUI for a boot manager, but not if it doesn't work properly!

Check BIOS and see if SATA controller is in RAID mode. Should be AHCI for SSD or ID/Legacy for HDD.

    Count Mike,

Thank you for answering, I restored a earlier version of Windows 10pro that came on the system and had to go out of town. Upon returning and powering up the system it did a upgrade now I have a worst problem. The system will boot to the desktop and freeze. I tried to use the windows key but nothing happens, I can do a right click and get a menu to come up but not with the windows key, ctl+alt+del brings up task manager I can get to system and look at different items on it. One thing that I did was open system protection but I can not get into system restore the system restore key is grayed out and so is the rest of the keys except OK has a blue square around it, I can do left and right click on news but it will not open, I can not access the internet but can open a couple of programs I installed when I first got the computer. Help.

    Thanks in advance,
