Windows 10 BootManager corrupt, cannot repair because no administrator account

    Hello!

    Background:

I managed to brick my PC yesterday, because I attempted to resize the partition Windows was installed on planned on dual booting. Disk Management didn't give me enough space, so I used AOMEI Partition Assistant, in the hopes it would move those big files Disk Management referenced, as the cause of the minuscule space available to shrink. Turns out AOMEI Partition Assistant somehow corrupted my MBR or something that is now causing my PC to automatically boot into Recovery.

    What I have tried already:

    • Booting into Windows from a USB flashdrive, with a Windows 10 boot image. For some reason it still boots into Recovery. Although I will spend more time trying this option again.
    • Using any option in the Recovery. Each requires my administrator password, which I know, but Windows doesn't recognize my admin account for some reason. I doesn't even appear in the list. Restarting does nothing.

    Important details:

    • Windows is installed on Drive C. It has no usable restore points.
    • Most of my data is on Drive D. It is BitLocker protected. I know the password, but have no recovery key the key is not uploaded to my account.

I have a feeling I completely bricked the system and the only way to get Windows working is to reinstall which I don't have any problems with. I was clever enough to put every important thing on D. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown Windows 10 BootManager corrupt, cannot repair because no administrator account :(

    Corrupted file RAR

If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:
    • Open WinRAR application in your system.
    • Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
    • A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
    • Now click Open button.
    • Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
    • Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
    • Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
    • Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
    • WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.
I hope the above steps will help you repair the corrupted RAR archive.

    Thanks.
