    Windows 10 bootrec /fixboot access is denied


    Hello. I have followed all the instruction and type in cmd starting from: Diskpart -> list disk and sel disk 0.
    Now i am stuck on "List Volume" on the cmd.
    I have 4 volumes on my screen :

    Vol 0 as C- OS NTFS partition,

    Vol 1 as E- Recovery partition,

    Vol 2 as "blank (aka empty)"- System FAT32 Partition, and

    Vol 3 as D- "Blank" NTFS partition.

    I do not know which one to choose.

    Would you guys please suggest me which one should i select it ?

    Access denied on bootrec /fixboot

    These are the commands and how to run them. No reason you should get Access denied.
    Fix the MBR – Guide for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10

    Windows 10 bootrec /fixboot access is denied

    Bootrec /fixboot Access is denied error

    I encountered winlog.exe missing/corrupted issue during laptop startup. Have googled up solutions in repairing with USB bootable drive but did not help.

    There's other recommendations to enter command prompt and enter the few bootrec commands. However upon entering Bootrec /fixboot....it stated access is denied.

    Additionally there were additionals steps to follow but i still couldn't get this Bootrec /fixboot command accessible.

    Anyone know why and what are other steps?
