Windows 10: Windows 10 broke both my internet connection and my will to fix it

Long story short: Had windows 7 until recently. It was all good but I wanted to upgrade because of aesthetic reasons. Since I upgraded, my connection is constantly dropping. IT IS NOT MY ISP, since on my phone, iPad, my fianceès phone and his laptop the connection is strong and stable.

I found out that I need to disconnect and reconnect to the same network in order to work. I need to do that constantly since the connection is broken every 20 seconds or so.

Hooking up an Ethernet cable is not possible due to placement of router.

I've seen something like "a VPN installed prior to upgrade could be at cause", I have never had a VPN on my machine.

What I have done so far:

-ticked off "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

-updated windows 10 with latest version

-updated drivers with latest version

-troubleshooting when the issue happenes (nothing detected, nothing fixed)

-network reset

-changed channels in router settings

More than sure I missed things I've tried to fix this. If I remember more, I will update.

If someone has an idea or had this issue before, I would love to read your take on it. It's been a week of constant troubleshooting and I am considering dropping windows 10 if I can't find the bottom of the barrel with this problem. (Excuse my formatting, I am writing from my phone, since I get acces to internet on it)

windows 10 update broke my internet

I installed 2019-06 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64 (KB4502584) and it broke my internet. Sometimes i cant connect to my wifi and when i can i have no internet. I tested it with different wifi, different drivers and reset them and is the Update.
How can i fix it, i can pause it but not forever. It keep installing when i search for updates so any suggestion is welcomed. Thanks

Method 1:

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
  
• 
  Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter
  

Method 2:

Try updating the Network Adapter drivers from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the Network Adapter drivers:

  Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

  Expand Network Adapter.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Ethernet and click on Update driver software.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
  

Check if it helps.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Once the window open click on View All
  located on the left navigation pane.
• Locate and select Internet Connection and run the in build troubleshooter
• Follow the Onscreen instructions.
