    Windows 10 - BSOD - MEMORY_MANAGEMENT - ntoskrnl.exe


    I've changed antivirus programs (from avast to kapersky free), I've checked my ram with memtest, I've run the Windows Memory Test, I've done SMART checks on my SSD, and I've run my CPU, GPU, and RAM pretty ragged with intense benchmarks. None of these things seem to trigger the random BSOD I keep getting.


    The only thing I've noticed is that it doesn't seem to like a lot of streaming video at once. But even that seems inconsistent.

    My PC is not a model PC. Motherboard is an EVGA Z97 FTW.


    I've also tried doing a system restore and even tried a system repair (which said it couldn't repair my windows but when I looked at the file it said it found nothing to repair).


    If it IS the RAM, that's fine. I just need some help narrowing things down and at this point I'm thinking it's drivers. Or I guess I could have a rootkit somehow...

    Turning on driver verifier sent me into an endless boot loop. Finally got out of it by booting into safe mode and turning it off. When I did get back to my regular machine, the only minidmp present was from the BSOD I got earlier in the night, not any of the boot loops.


    Please let me know if you need any more information. I'm really coming up empty here and I just want my machine back in action.

    Well sorry to tell you but display driver still crashes when launching a game.
    so uhh
    ./wernotdonehere

    It could be because it's an upgrade from w7 and not a clean install, which I'll try tomorrow, but still.

    Ok, I stand corrected.

    It failed in the first 8 passes combined. I can't see how performing the eight passes in one go can help in the general case (in some special cases sure it can).

    Anyway, I think this thread is solved.
