    Windows 10 BSOD on two different linked workstations.

    Hello, I hope I am directing this in the correct subreddit. I have 3 workstations in a lab. 1 workstation runs a standalone controller and the other 2 run a second controller. For simplicity I'll refer to the single computer single controller as workstation A and the others as workstation B and C.

    Workstations A functions without issue. Workstation B hosts a control system and workstation C accesses the control system via a mapped network drive to workstation B (this is consistent with the manufacturer specifications for the control system). All run in windows 10 and are built identically as far as windows 10 version, processor, ram, etc. Ever since putting this system online, workstation B and workstation C blue screen at random. Only one of the two will BSOD and there seems to be no pattern for what causes it, what happens, etc.

    The blue screening only affects the linked workstations (B and C). I have checked the computer management log files and application log files and so far have not found anything remotely useful as to what is happening. I have witnessed it blue screen firsthand. Nothing preceeds the blue screen and everything seems to function as normal and then it's blue. In addition, even with knowing the exact time of crashes I've yet to find any useful log info.

    As far as troubleshooting I have contacted the control system manufacturer which was unaware of any compatibility issues, in addition the software version is made specifically for windows 10. I have also completely uninstalled the control system and even reimaged workstations B and C in an effort to resolve this.

    At this point I am under the belief that this is a issue with windows 10 as we utilized this same exact setup with windows 7 and had not ran into an issue like this. If anyone else has had any similar experiences with linked PCs crashing I would appreciate some insight into resolution. I should also add the workstations were originally designed to run on a corporate domain and that I had to get some special permissions to remove corporate security software in order allow the aforementioned mapped network drive.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile Windows 10 BSOD on two different linked workstations. :)

    Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
