    Hello ^_^
My original os is win7 then i upgraded to 10... After a while of using it... It opens the Blue screen saying unmountable boot volume.. Also i dont have win7 cd since the os was built in...

Next i rebooted it, it says "preparing automatic repair" i tried to wait.. But after it says that, it goes to a black screen and nothing happens

Then i tried dloading the iso from the site and then burned it to a usb.. Then it says
Press any key to boot from USB
    *presses any key*
    BOOTMGR is missing
    Press ctrl+alt+delete to restart

Is the problem in the usb or it just wont open because of the error?

I only have recovery disks on win7
    My laptop is Vaio SVE111A11W
Cant open my laptop due to this so i cant really attach the needed files.. T^T

    :)

Can I install Windows 10 on crashed Windows 8.1 computer?

My Dell Laptop got the Unmountable_Boot_Volume error, and I was wondering if I would upgrade it to Windows 10 so it will work. I am gonna use a 16GB flash drive to do it.

The boot files have been removed, what causes an unbootable device.

When you access your BIOS, look for the boot mode (UEFI, legacy)
What does it say? This data is necessary, because the possible boot files repair method depends on what it is, meaning the method for UEFI is different then for another.

  5. Send me a message at my gmail... L: OedipusRex0830@gmail.com

I cant seem to find what you are talking about, when i go to bios and to the boot panel.. All i see is the order of boot (external, internal, etc) there is no boot mode...

Send me a mail on gmail and i'll send you the pics of the bios part ...

You're not in the correct part, you need to access the BIOS not the boot order *Wink
