Windows 10: Windows 10 bug causing problem in attaching pictures or documents

I have Windows 10 using Office 2013, I have been unable to go to the Picture folder, highlight one to 10 pictures, the amount doesn't matter, right click, chose send to, chose mail recipient, click on that which brings up a pop for attach file size, pick the size I want then click on attach. Outlook which is my default e-mail does not open a new e-mail with the picture or pictures attached.

Also got similar problem if I go to Documents folder see a particular file, right click on it, pick send to then "mail recipient" and the same, a new e-mail is not opened with the document attached.

Of these two the biggest problem is not being able to resize the photo's when sending in an e-mail.

With both of these issues I can open Outlook, create a new e-mail and click on "Attach File" browse our documents find the file choose it & the file is attached to the e-mail I had created.

Same happens for the "Picture" folder except there is not resizing tool, so am limited to one picture sometimes not even that for the photo is to large to attach.

I have been told by a computer repair business that this is because of a bug with Windows 10 & my only hope is to wait for an update.

Does anyone have any insight into this issue?

documents/pictures problem

Since downloading Windows 10 I have the following problem. On moving to the bottom of a list of documents or row pictures, before I can open the document, rename the picture, etc. the screen jumps back to the top of the list of documents or first row of
pictures. I thought it might caused by a mouse problem but I have used the touch pad mouse and external mouse to select the document or picture with the same result. Any ideas?

 

Attaching a document from SkyDrive as to a Windows Phone email

OK...

I've never been able to do this. Here are the steps:

• Open a new outgoing email on my Windows phone
• Choose the paperclip "Attach" icon
• This opens up a window to "Choose Picture"
• It does not allow me to choose documents from my SkyDrive

I can go into SkyDrive and choose to share a document through email. However:

• this does not allow me to attach multiple documents, and
• it does not allow me to attach a document when I'm responding to another email in an existing thread.

These are real limitations.

Also, PDF documents are treated differently still. They are harder to attach.

I should be able to attach any document originating from an email.

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder


Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.
