    I just finished installing build 10176 in VMware Player. So far it's running OK. The only thing I've noticed is that it didn't activate.

    Same here. I learned to do a image before I do any installs just in case I do run into a problem. *Smile

    The Enterprise version that I've seen uses a KMS (key management service). That's an activation service intended for corporate environments. I believe that the (illegal?) KMS that was listed on the Web may have gone offline.

    It is pretty hard for me to resist because I already download it but I'm not looking for problems. I'm here to test the machine and the 10166 runs so well that I wish to go forward. If it's illegal then what is the next release ?

    It seems to be illegal and if it's the case there ain't no key available. Only manufacturer have it. I want install that build.

    Try from Admin Command Prompt to activate:

    Thanks, but it's not work. When I put code in Command Prompt, it's say that key is successfully installed, but when I enter in Settings, all is locked. I can't edit Personalization category.

    But thanks for trying to help me *Smile I am downloading now 10166, I don't want to mess up with illegal software *Smile

    The key I've seen in recent posts is a KMS one. To complete activation, there are some additional steps involving an illicit KMS server in India.

    Last I saw, it had gone offline.

    If it's back, do you really want to go there? What you'd get would be an activated build of Win 10 Enterprise. It has no expiration date (unlike the Preview builds), and no watermark.

    If you want to pirate Windows 10, why not wait for the released version?
