Windows 10: Windows 10 business edition: Mic is disabled when plugged in.

I have a problem with business laptop. Every time I plug in any headset, USB, or 3.5, mic appears disabled.Operational but disabled, so I have to reach the legacy mixer/audio device settings, open the "levels" tab and turn it on.King of unfriendly of Microsoft. Particularly in business environment when you have to respond fast to teleconference requests.

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.
