  1. Windows 10 C: drive not usable

So, my PC crashed, and tries to reboot, and it gets stuck with the spinning dots forever, so i try some things that didn't work, and then i plug in a boot stick and try the auto-recovery, to my surprise after 30 minutes it worked, windows booted. However i noticed that any files on my local disk C: Drive don't open, some applications give errors, others don't, windows store doesn't work, no pictures app, you get it. Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Windows 10 C: drive not usable

    Making a hard drive usable

I have a new hard drive I'd like to use for back ups but Windows 10 doesn't recognize the drive as usable as a viable drive for backups. The drive is seen by the computer just not usable for back ups. Any suggests?

    Thanks,
