Windows 10: Windows 10 Calculator - Cut & Paste

I often cut and paste calculator results. I can copy the number displayed on the calculator but then there is no option to paste the number in Microsoft Money.

The calculator in Windows 8 was fine. Is there a better calculator than this feeble effort in Windows 10?

Thanks Jack & Mel. Before I read Jack's response, I did a cut/paste on the device itself and that worked. It did warn me that 'some programs may not function correctly' ... but the calculator - the one I moved - functioned just fine in its new location.

Am I screwing things up by cut/pasting versus copy/pasting? I'd rather not have duplicate copies of icons if I can help it... but on the other hand, I want everything to work.

Cut & paste

Have not been able to cut & paste in Windows 10. Highlight text but do not get drop down menu for "Cut", then "Paste" as in Vista......which was so much user friendly. Control & Control V do not work.

This is a really useless calculator. When you use Ctrl C to hopefully copy the result, it closes the App!!! This looks like another job MS gave to a summer student.

I still can't cut and paste and CTRL C does close the calculator app.

 

Right click copy/paste. Same in the old calculator transferred to Win 10:



Non-intuitive, but hey, we need sthg to keep us awake..*chuckle
CTRL C closes neither for me.
