Windows 10: Windows 10 Calendar color

I recently bought a Lenovo laptop with Windows 10 and have customized almost everything to my liking. But I have a problem with Windows 10 calendar (the one that pops up when you click the clock).


My theme color is light blue and I want to keep it that way. But the calendar text is white so it's very hard to see. I don't want to use the calendar app since it's slow and I only need the calendar to see what day the next wednesday is, not to set up appointments or notifications.


Solutions I am looking for:

-How to change either the bg color or text color for calendar ONLY or

-How to revert back to much simpler and smaller calendar win7 and win8 used, since the calendar is way bigger than needed anyway.

Hi Marise,

Blue is the default color of the Windows 10 Calendar app. If you do not remember changing it, here are the steps:

• Calendar > Settings > Personalization
  > Colors.

When adding an event, you also have an option to disable the Reminder. Here the the steps:

• Click on the desired date > More details > Reminder: None >
  Save and close.

Follow the below steps and check if it helps:

• Open Outlook and click to view your calendar.
• Double-click on the event on your calendar that you wish to apply color to. This will open the event on your calendar.
• In the Label list, select the color of your choice.
• Click on Save and Close.

Colors are visible in Day/Week/Month view of your Calendar.
