Windows 10: Windows 10 CAN connect via ethernet and CANNOT connect via wifi

Discus and support Windows 10 CAN connect via ethernet and CANNOT connect via wifi in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I have tried all the online help that I can find but i still cannot connect via wifi.     Windows 10 CAN connect via ethernet and CANNOT connect via wifi


    I have tried all the online help that I can find but i still cannot connect via wifi. Is this a common issue ? Using an HP laptop. Other devices in the house can connect. It doesnt even see the wireless network or any others to try and connect to it.

    Windows 10 Ethernet connection randomly disconnects

    Hello,

    So this issue has been annoying me since i have changed my old i5-4670 with a ryzen.

    Ethernet: Realtek 8111H (MSI X370 Gaming Plus)
    Modem/Router: Airties Air 5760

    What i have tried so far to fix my issue:
    • Re-installing Windows
    • Updating Ryzen chipset drivers
    • Updating Realtek LAN drivers (both from MSI & Realtek)
    • Updating MSI' LAN releated drivers (MSI Gaming Lan Manager)
    • Replacing ethernet cable
    • Restarting router to factory settings
    Still no luck, keeps happening randomly. Sometimes it is stable for days then it is not stable for 20 mins. Happening when gaming or idle, or while streaming via steam link.
    Windows' own issue fixer thingy fix the issue for the moment, re-plugging the cable, disabling & enabling the ethernet adapter also fixes the issue for the moment.
    Also i am the only one having this issue in the network, TV and phones are still connected to wifi.

    It is started to be real annoying, so time to get help to fix the issue from TPU. Thanks in advance! *I Love TPU :lovetpu:

    Connected by Ethernet and WiFi

    Right now my computer is connected by 1.0 Gbps Ethernet and 1.3 Gbps WiFi. Can Windows 10 take advantage of this or should I disable one these connections?

    Windows 10 CAN connect via ethernet and CANNOT connect via wifi

    Make Windows 10 connect/disconnect to WiFi based on Ethernet connection status

    Steps:

    1. Go to Control Panel\ All Control Panel Items\ Network and Sharing Center > click on 'Change adapter settings' then use the 'alt button' to show menus and select Advanced Settings...
    2. Under Connections section, select Ethernet, and use the arrows to the right to move Ethernet above WiFi.
    3. Click OK.

    Windows will now prefer the Ethernet over the WiFi for connecting to the internet. This should apply for Windows 8, 8.1, and 10.
