Windows 10: [Windows 10] Cannot remove Exchange Account from settings

Dear Community,


I have set up a few Exchange Accounts on my personal computer running Windows 10. These accounts were added in the Outlook client as admin accounts as required by my employers.


As I have changed work, I lost access to these accounts. I successfully removed them from Outlook, however, Windows 10 keeps prompting me with the following message "There is an issue with one or more of your accounts...".


Going to Settings > Account > E-mail & Accounts, I can see all Exchange accounts, including those of my previous job.

Clicking on them only offer one option "Manage". When clicking on this button / option, it redirects to the login page on my default browser. But since these accounts were disabled, there is nothing I can.


How can I delete them ? I have looked for solutions, but there is no prompt, no delete button. So I am stuck with this notification saying there is a problem.


Please help ! This is driving me nuts...

Cannot remove exchange online account from Mail App on Win 10

I cannot synchronise two Office365 accounts using the Mail App (ver 17.6525.42271.0) in Windows 10 so I decided to remove the accounts.

I have tried removing the accounts using the steps below but the mail app responds with the message "Something Went Wrong. We're sorry , but we weren't able to do that. Error code 0x8007002"

Steps

• Open Mail App
• Click on Settings at the bottom of the app
• Click on Manage Account
• Click on Account to be removed and select Change Settings
• Click on Delete Accounts
• Click on Delete

I have also tried the troubleshooter and fix account

Can someone please help remove the account, the alerts are driving me insane.

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

• Launch the Store from your Start menu.
• Click the user icon next to the search box.
• Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
• Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
• When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”
