Windows 10: Windows 10 Canon MG6320 idle status

In my home network, one PC WiFi connection to our networked Canon printer works but the other PC WiFi connection does not. The one not working reports "Settings - Printer status -Idle". I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer four times. The PC with the working printer connection has Windows 10 ver. 2004 while the PC with the not working printer has Windows 10 ver. 1909. As soon as the operation system was updated to 1909, in late October 2020, the printer stopped working.


Can I safely uninstall the 1909 update in order to get my printer to print again?

Canon Pixma MP620 drivers don't seem to exist yet.

They will walk you thru every step to fix your problem, their pretty good fixing problems with windows 10 and their printers. Good luck Wayne!!

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
