Windows 10: Windows 10 Can't activate alarm on hibernate

I use the alarm from this site https://freealarmclocksoftware.com/

I have two laptops, one is a dell windows 7 and this one is lenovo windows 10.



First I set-up my alarm on my windows 7 laptop with the option "wake up computer from sleep mode", then I hibernate my laptop, and closed the lid. After reaching the time of the alarm, you will be able to hear the sound coming from the laptop even if the lid is closed and there is still the lock screen.


When I do the same on my windows 10 laptop, you won't be able to hear the sound of the alarm unless you open the laptop, and successfully answered the lock screen.

Is there a way to force windows 10 to sound the alarm even if the lid is closed and the lock screen is still there? I need the lock screen

:)

I suggest you to run the Power troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if for any power components change status.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type troubleshooting and select the top most search result.
• Click on View All from the left side panel of the window.
• Select Power from the options, click on Advanced option and check Apply repairs automatically option.
• Follow the on screen instructions and wait for the troubleshooting to complete.
• Check for the missing/corrupted power component status of the troubleshooter, close the window and check if the issue is resolved.
