Windows 10: Windows 10 can't detect Goji Bluetooth headphones but detects others

As per the title, I'm trying to figure out why. My windows 10 PC works well with Bluetooth, connects to other headphones fine. But when I try these: https://www.currys.ie/ieen/audio-an...uetooth-headphones-rosegold-10174720-pdt.html - using the exact same steps as I connect the other wireless headphones, it simply does not detect them at all.


There is nothing wrong with these headphones, they connect fine to other bluetooth devices - but not my Windows 10 pc.

It's just very strange because I can confirm the Bluetooth on my pc works; the Goji wireless headphones also work fine, but for some reason they can't be detected?

Headphones Not Detected

Wasn't sure what topic to put this under.

Windows 10 refuses to detect my headphones from my headset. The mic is fine. The computer even recognizes when I plug the headphones of the headset in. But it refuses to detect them. I can go into my Sound in Control Panel all day, and there will NEVER be any
headphones in that list. So, no, I cannot click headphones, just making that clear before someone suggests clicking on headphones.

How do I force Windows 10 to detect the headphones that I have plugged in, so that they will work? The jack is working fine. When I plug them in it gives me the pop-up letting me know that I plugged something into the jack. But that's the end of it. It will
not detect the headphones. Nothing comes out of them. There are no headphones in the Sound list. There is nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Why does it register something is plugged in and then refuse to detect it?

Someone please figure out why Windows 10 simply cannot detect headphones and help me fix this so I can use my headset.

 

Windows can't detect bluetooth headphones

I also had the same issue, it was quite irritating. The audio technica bluetooth device was detected by iphone and samsung phones but when I search with my laptop ( windows 10) it was not discoverable. The device was not showing in the bluetooth list of
discoverable devices. Pressed the headphone switch for long period but the laptop couldnot detect it. Did all the setting changes, changed all the options and updated all the drivers but still it was not detected.

I read somewhere that bluetooth uses something which is common with the wifi so I made sure that the wifi was enabled, airplane made was off. Next disconnected the laptop from the internet wifi connection. Once the laptop wifi was disconnected, it search
the bluetooth headset under 'Bluetooth & other device' and the device was listed. Previously when the laptop wifi was connected to the router, the bluetooth headset was not detected but after disconnecting from the router it was detected.

Steps:

1. Airplane mode: OFF

2. Wifi ON but not connected to any device

3. bluetooth ON

4. Search for the device

Windows 10 absolutely will not detect my bluetooth headphones.

I downloaded the helper app in the link and ran it. the options looked nothing like the instructions. the app said it detected problems and fixed them and got me to restart the computer.

it still will not detect my AKG headphones which my ipad connects to easily every time. Why is windows rubbish at detecting bluetooth headphones compared to apple?
