Windows 10: Windows 10 can't find my location and any other locations after the update

After today's auto update, I realized my computer shows the wrong time. Then I found out its auto time zone setting was Mountain Time I'm in Toronto, should be Eastern TimeThe time was fine after I turn off the auto timezone and manually select it. But when I open the Map app try to know where my computer think I am, the map locates me at Calgary by default again, I'm in Toronto, and the google map works fine.No matter what address I put in, the Map app just tells me "We can't find blablabla..." which means I can't do anything with "default location" as well, tried with 30+ different a

One more suggestion for B/S/T forum is the inclusion of a location made mandatory.
I know it's already possible, but there's a limited choice in locations, and not many people use it, assuming that because they're in the US, they don't need to.
The problem from this comes when they state quite clearly (although sometimes not clearly at all), they only ship to the US.
Making location mandatory in the thread title would save a bit of time and hassle, and would make searching the forum easier.

A suggestion for this: use the poster's location, if they've added a correct location, as the default.

It's not like it's an issue of privacy, the poster will tell where they're from within the post in a round-about way.

Not a big suggestion, but I thought I'd throw it in there.

 

Windows 10 download speed issues

Try this method:

• First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
• locate and select “Update and Security“.

Step 1:

Follow the steps to change the region:

a) Type “Region” on the Search and click on
Change your country or region option from the search results.

b) Now choose the location from the drop down menu to change the region. (As per your location)

Move to the next step.

Step 2:

I would suggest you to turn On Windows location platform on the computer and check if it helps.

You can follow the steps:

a) Type
location on the Search.

b) Click on
Change Location settings.

c) Check the box which states “Turn ON Windows location platform” and “Help improve Windows Location services”.

e) Click on Apply.

Proceed to the next step.

Step 3:

If you are trying to use location settings for an app, I would suggest you to turn ON the settings to allow apps to use the location on the computer.

Follow the steps:

a) Type
location on the Search.

b) Click on
Location privacy settings.

c) Move the slider towards the right to turn ON settings for ‘Let Windows apps use my location’.

Restart the computer once after making the changes.
