Windows 10: Windows 10. Can't reset password to fix windows 10 after an update.

My mum's laptop is blue screening after one of the recent windows updates. When I try to use any of the tools in the advanced startup menu, it needs a password. The problem is that my mum has forgotten her password and if I click onto forgotten password to reset it, it boots into windows and it comes up with "something has gone wrong. please set up your pin". When i click it, it says just a moment and does nothing so i can't reset her password. Sometimes, it says that it needs to look for an app on the store but it does nothing. I also tried to reset her Microsoft password and try to log in a

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
