Windows 10: Windows 10, Can't start session on pc. PIN box not appearing

I am trying to sign in to my PC on Windows 10 but after starting up, the box to enter my PIN does not appear so I have not been able to get into the computer. I've tried resetting my pc multiple times but no luck. Also most solutions I find online advise to start on safe mode by pressing and holding shift then power>reset but it just resets normally, not in safe mode. I'm a at a loss and would appreciate a solution.

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.

Windows 10 Tweaks

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

• Launch the Store from your Start menu.
• Click the user icon next to the search box.
• Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
• Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
• When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”

I just typed gpedit.msc into the search box and when it showed in the results
rightclick/ pin to start
