Windows 10: Windows 10 - CD draw seen by computer but no files - file explorer issues how to fix?

Hello Microsoft Community. An odd one for you. I have a client who has 3 Windows 10 computers which all have CD/DVD drives.On ALL three computers the drives can be seen, they open and you hear them loading the disks. However, EVERYTHING loads in the file explorer as a DVD disk meaning that a normal CD disk with just music on doesn't show any files and neither does a data disk. They are both counted as "blank" when they are not and there is an error displayed that it can't read the files.I have found that it is nothing to do with the drivers, or the registry for the CD drive as it's coming up a

how to copy files from the CD to the Computer drive

I would suggest you to follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows key + X.
  
• 
  Click file explorer from the list.
  
• 
  Select the CD/DVD drive and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Select the files you want to copy from the CD/DVD, then select the drive where you want to paste or save.

Windows Explorer Replacement?

I don't use Internet Explorer, I meant the thing where you can look at files etc. Hotkey Windows+E. Maybe it's the wrong name in english though. *Stick Out Tongue
