  1. Windows 10 CEIP

    I am getting the notification "You are currently participating in the CEIP program." I looked this message up online and found that it can be disabled/opted out in 4 locations: registry, task scheduler, windows media player, and group policy editor. Despite having turned it off in these 4 locations, I still get the notification that I am participating in this program.

    How do you effectively disable/opt of of this program?

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    CEIP - rundll32.exe high CPU use in Win 10?

    This is a very first thing that I turn off after any Windows Installation (7/8/10).
    1. Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Task Scheduler
    2. Right click & disable 3 items as shown:
