Windows 10: Windows 10 changed my keyboard on a colocated computer to Swedish and now local logon...

I am setting up a media device on an old computer using Windows 10. Windows 10 must be used due to Windows 11 producing a sound buffering issue when using the particular setup I'm using it for.While setting up the server colocation, everything was going fine until Windows changed my keyboard layout to Swedish language, Swedish layout and Swedish Language, English UK layout.It did this after changing the admin password. I have never installed any Swedish language on Windows, ever. And I do mean ever. I didn't install it ten minutes ago, and I didn't install it ten years ago.Somebody is invari

Why is there a Swedish English keyboard Windows 10?

I have a Swedish Windows 10 computer and I made it to have 3 keyboards: Swedish, American English and French. But in the keyboard list, there is a fourth language, Swedish English, as you can see in the screenshot:





I went into language settings (by clicking on the språkinställningar button in the screenshot) and I could only see the three languages that I want: Swedish, American English and French. I clicked on each of these three languages and on the button Options and in each case, there was only one keyboard, the one for the language. To make this more clear, here is a screenshot of the options for American English:





It's the same for all other languages except that the only keyboard in the keyboard list is Swedish for Swedish and French for French.

I also tried deleting the Swedish and English keyboards and leaving only the French one (which is the only one that has nothing to do with Swedish English) and the Swedish English keyboard is still there.

The Swedish English doesn't seem to be anywhere in the settings, but it still shows up. Why is this? How can I take it away?

 

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

Saying that Microsoft does not know the layout of s Swedish keyboard is risky when based on a single observation. The @ symbol in Windows 10 is still accessed with AltGr+2, as before, provided one uses the standard Swedisch keyboard layout.
