Windows 10: WINDOWS 10 - chkdsk not running after reboot

I am on Windows 10.When I use chkdsk it says there are problems but it cant repair them in read-only mode because I use my pc and the C driver I guess, so I do a command to plan the chkdsk during the reboot.When I run chkdsk on my C driver, it tells me I can't use it right now and I press -y yes when it proposes me to chdsk after a reboot, as I mentioned before. Then it says chkdsk will run after windows restarts.When I reboot, I do nothing it tells me to press a key if i want to cancel the process, I don't but like 3-5 seconds after, my Windows opens asks my password and nothing more ha

chkdsk c: /F

It might be an error on the drive. We suggests that you follow the troubleshooting steps below:

• Run Disk Cleanup utility to clear your junk files.
• Open an elevated CMD type sfc /scannow and hit Enter to run the System File Checker.
  
• Once the scan is completed, restart your computer. Remember to exit ChkDsk
  during boot.
• Next, again open CMD as admin type
  Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and hit Enter to repair the Windows image.
• Now see if ChkDsk able to complete the scan.

Note: Before doing the steps, make sure you save a back up of your files.

Running CHKDSK to fix run as admin issue. Turns out that a few files are corrupted. Wants me to run CHKDSK /f, but the file is NTFS.

Step 1: Boot system in safe mode by following the steps in the below article

Step 2:

Go to Search box next to the Windows icon and type CMD

Step 3:

Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator

Step 4:

Type chkdsk C: /F

Type y to accept scan after the restart.

Step 5:

Shutdown your PC "not restart"

Step 6:

Turn PC back on

Let chkdsk check for errors, and the system will reboot.
