Windows 10: Windows 10 Chrome and Edge XHR Performance issue

Windows 10 XMLHttpRequest is slow? Huge Performance issue? I used OpenSpeedTest to benchmark my local 10Gbps network by hosting an instance locally. Results are consistently poor on windows 10 Chrome and EdgeI tested this on a 10Gbps Network. Up to 1 Gbps there is no difference can be observed. I believe speed above 3 Gbps is the issue here. Ubuntu Linux Chrome i got 9500Mbps Download and 9700Mbps UploadMacOS Chrome i got 9400Mbps Download and 9500Mbps UploadWindows 10 Chrome and Edge i got 6000 Mbps Download and 95000 Upload.Windows 10 Chrome and Edge Always show speed between 5000 and 6000

Edge Import Bookmarks from Chrome does not work

To resolve your issue with Microsoft Edge, we suggest that you clear your browsing data. Please follow the steps below:

• Click on the 3 dots at the upper right corner of Edge.
• Go to Settings.
• Go to Clear browsing data.
• Click on Choose what to clear > Clear.
• Try to import your bookmarks from Chrome to Microsoft Edge.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

Performance issues related to Microsoft Edge

Yes, I meant Microsoft Edge will not open after todays update. I tried every step and procedure you listed above, but none of them resolved the issue. Update history reports the update was installed successfully. I could not perform method 2 listed above
as Edge will not open. it appears for approximately 2 seconds with its blue start page, then disappears.
