    Windows 10 compatibility with Gigabyte X58A-UD3R motherboard


    I would like to know if Windows 10 is compatible with my motherboard and processor. I have Gigabyte X58A-UD3R FE (Ver. 1, I think) motherboard with BIOS Ver.2.06. My processor is Intel i7 960. Could someone please tell me if my system is compatible with Windows 10. Also, if you could let me know if there are any consequences of just trying to install Windows 10 and see what happens. Any help is appreciated.

    Windows 10 compatibility with Gigabyte X58A-UD3R motherboard

    I too am using the GA-X58A-UD3R. rev 2 to be exact. I am having issues with the computer not staying asleep. Apparently, the only sleep states supported by the current driver are:

    Standby (S3)

    Hibernate

    Hybrid Sleep

    Fast Startup

    I can power the system down after I'm done, but I was hoping for an auto power savings while I'm not home.
