As many of you know that because of these major updates and with these last ones putting 2 into have people computers lock them out. For me it made my Windows 10 go so crazy that when it crash I was happy. I the thing was dead but when I got it to run again without doing a clean install I thought I was real lucky and it when right into doing a complete rebuild then coming as the new Windows but that was not so but I had Windows 10 Anniversary. Well after not getting much help for support about this. I put to the

task on hand checking and fixing with Idea do install and waiting answer from support so in the without I sent a note forget it I going to do a refresh and see if this will work and it did got bug and it was one of the best builds ever. One should not think they have a good thing until time has by, That not the end, just before or after Christmas I using and when I just about turn it off I shouting down a little databox popup saying am I the Admin to get it out the way clicked on it, then came the nightmare, it shout down and the next day came when I went to use it I came to where would just put in my pin but there was my photo name and it wanted my password so it in an in and fond that they did not work. After that could see how all I wanted to do is it the trash or take to Microsoft Store just keep this and will take that one. So again I contact support and no real help. They did try to give ways I might be able to get in if I did not have bootable drive. Thing over the years has been many level of Windows and even if had it I do not know with all the builds it would have worked.

One not to give up. I have brought this thing back from near death. So I put myself to reading one more time and try everything that said without something to a reboot but that did not stop me, I disable and much and even that not in my way I do not drive it has been raining on and off where I am. I get around in an electric wheelchair. Well thing will stop because how many spaces, I put myself do going it. Everyone has good and fond even I had USB. If you do know you have to the secret databox, Going up the boot does not work, F2, F8, F10 and in old days F12. Well, I have to take that back, you up her skirt to the UFFI settings if you how and make it mess up. Then you and get there for F8 There maybe faster way but could find it. That's not what got me in and I sure a of old school would be saying Dos but sorry that's only part of it. It took messing up to point let into part that is not there in the F8 and let me into system recovery, there were many more steps to getting it open Windows. So I will let you Wizz Kids tell what you would have done. No USB only thing you are to use is a tablet or as I did a Chromebook. Because every one will tell you what you should of done. Go find someone that has one like this. No bootable USB so there's no way in but you and all the F numbers will only get you so far and it tells you with every step stop can not proceed, go back.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Windows 10 Complete lock with it showing it what's a password :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

    Windows 10 lock screen password

We appreciate the details that you've provided. We suggest that you remove the lock screen password by following the steps below:

    • On the Windows search bar, type in Netplwiz and select the top most result. This window gives you access to Windows user accounts and many password controls.
    • Right at the top is a checkmark next to the option labeled Users must enter a username and password to use this computer.
      Uncheck that.
    • Click Apply and it will prompt you for your current password. Enter it twice. The next time you reboot, or your PC wakes up from a nap, you’ll no longer need to type in your password.

    Let us know the results.
