Windows 10: Windows 10 computer stuck on blue screen :

Hello.

When I turned on my windows 10 computer this morning, I saw the sad-face blue screen error message. It is now stuck on 100% complete for an hour. Stop code is DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and what failed is entryprotect.sys.

Is it safe to perform a hard restart? Should I wait? What can I do to avoid getting that screen again?
