Windows 10: Windows 10 Computer Task Bar is not reactive

Hi,Following a Windows update the Start Menu icon, the Search toolbar and other functions on the task bar are no longer working. WinKey+I does not work although WinKey+R works.I tried SFC, DISM, Reset All Apps commands to no avail.I would like to rollback the windows update but can't get to Windows update WinKey + I problem.Does anyone have a solution please?

Windows 10 Defender - How to make it default to task bar?

Using Windows 10 and currently I am using Defender for anti virus. For whatever reason Windows Defender does not show up in the task bar unless I search for the program or right click and scan a file/folder. Is there a way to force Defender to show up in the task bar at start up?

A short while after upgrading to Window 10 I lost the start button, cortana, basically most (but not all) of the task bar and could not access the hidden bar on the RHS. After struggling with various suggested fixes on the internet for a few days I came
across your suggestion and this seems to have resolved the issue.

It has now returned with a vengeance. I have tried the steps above but now it freezes on the last step saying something has been initialised and then nothing (I have left it for hours just in case).

Ideally I'd like to revert to the previous Windows version but I think the time I am allowed to do this has expired plus the option to do this is tucked away in the now defunct bar on the RHS. Alternatively have you another way of reactivating my PC? Currently
it is just decoration for my desk

Cannot modify Task Bar settings

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."
