    Windows 10 Confusion


    So I am re-installing Windows 10 on a friends computer, this is somethig I have done many many times before.As I didn't want to loose any of his data I bought another like for like hard disk and installed Windows on that.Now that Windows 10, has bene installed I am simply trying to restore the data. This is where I am running into issues.On the fresh install of Windows I have logged with the my friends hotmail.com account.Then I pluged in the old hard drive into the PC using a USB Caddy case.Once mounted I then started to transfer over his desktop files.So to do that I open up file explorer

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
