    Windows 10 (Connections killed on PC lock)

    Hello and thank you for taking the time looking at this.

    I have 2 users that have upgraded to new Surface books which come with Windows 10 pro installed, these two computers are the only two out of 100+ that when screen locked they lose all of the connections (RDP, QuickBooks, Prophix, etc.) upon unlocking the screen the user is required to re-log into these.

    {Solutions tried}

    Tried changing the power settings to not shut off any devices (NIC) on sleep, lock, hibernate. (No change)
    Tried a Regedit change that was described in a posting similar to this on the forums here. (No change)
    Tried Adapter settings>Configure to adjust power settings management there, but was no option. (No change)

    Any help on this would be fantastic, Im ready to downgrade them both to Windows 7 here next week since the problem is costing too much time.

    Thanks in advance

    :)

  2. Windows Phone app for desktop "We're connecting to your phone..."

    Windows Phone app for desktop was working fine two day ago but know when I connect lumia 1020 I get message "We're connecting to your phone..." forever and the app locks up (I have to kill the app using task manager).

    I have uninstalled and re-installed the app with no change.

    I'm running windows 7 (64 bit).

    I can see my phones directory in windows explorer (and I can copy music files between PC and phone.

    Yeah: I get it. It's like "special projects" in the corporate world, right? Alas, it's not a joke, though perhaps the joke is on all of us. Notice I said in my first post "answers you can't get anywhere else" rather than the more comforting "answers you might need." *Devil
