Windows 10: Windows 10 constantly disconnects my computer from the internet and has broken my home...

I recently ungraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I had no network issues under Windows 7. Now that I have Windows 10, my computer disconnects itself from the internet randomly every hour or two. This only seems to happen when I am using my hardwired ethernet connection and not when I am using my WIFI connection although I may just have been lucky. To fix it and reconnect, I have to run the inbuilt Windows network diagnostics. It always reports the same message: 'The default gateway is not available' then says that it has fixed the issue... which it has! The problem is that it shouldn't have caused this issue in the first place and I cannot and should not have to run this diagnostic 8 times a day or more just to maintain my internet connection. I know this is caused by Windows 10 because I updated a few months ago and immediately had this problem and then reverted back to Windows 7 because I was totally over a lot of these types of issue that Windows 10 seem to bring, whereupon the issue went away and staid away only to return immediately when I once again upgraded to Windows 10! I am also unable to make this Windows 10 computer visible to other computers on my home network although IT can see the other computers. Again, my home network functioned flawlessly for YEARS before I 'upgraded'. I'm at my wit's end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here are few troubleshooting steps which you may try to resolve the issue with WIFI disconnecting on your Computer.

Method 1: Run the Internet Connections Troubleshooter

This troubleshooter is an automated Windows 10 inbuilt tool which finds and fixes the common issues with the Internet Connections on the computer. Perform these steps to run this tool and check if that helps.

• Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press “Enter”.
• In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on “View All” on the left pane.
• Click on “Internet Connections”.
• Click on “Advanced” and then click on “Run as Administrator”.
• Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

If above method doesn't work I suggest you try below method

• Do you get any error message when the internet disconnects?
• Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• Are you able to connect through wired connection?
