Windows 10: Windows 10 constantly restarts and gets stuck on boot.

A month-month and a half ago I started noticing that sometimes my PC gets stuck on the booting screen and had to restart it so it can either get stuck or boot successfully. A week or two later the instances where it got stuck increased and afterwards even after loading up, the PC would just restart no blue screen, just restart. So, now its at a point where a successful booting takes an hour. Everyday I run disk checks, memory repairs via CMD and automatic windows repair but to no avail. Chipset and BIOS are all up to date along with every other driver.Event viewer shows the following errors:

Let us try the below methods and check if that helps.

Method 1:

Initially I suggest you to start your computer in safe mode with Networking and check if the issue appears there as well.

If it does not appear in safe mode with Networking place the computer in clean boot state to identify the culprit program running in the background creating this error.

Step 1: Safe Mode with Networking

Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that starts your computer in a limited state. Only the basic files and drivers necessary to run Windows are started.

If the problem does not exist in safe mode, try to perform a clean boot and check.

NOTE: Once you perform clean boot do refer to the section “How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting” to boot the computer
in normal mode.

Method 2:

If the issue persists in clean boot mode as well, I would suggest you to run Microsoft System File Checker tool SFC /SCANNOW to scan the system integration and fix any corruption.

The sfc /scannow (System File Checker) command scans all protected system files, and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows key + X, select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
• In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
• Restart the computer.

Windows 10 pro will not shutdown or restart. Gets stuck

Usually a sign of memory going south. Try booting using one stick only (and change the stick if you have to).

 

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.
