  1. Windows 10 corrupt index attributes ":$SDH:$INDEX_ALLOCATION" and ":$SII:$INDEX_ALLOCATION"

I have had some issues with my Windows 10 Home OS build: 19045.3570, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core 3.80 GHz, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 2080ti, computer for a few months now. I have experienced a few BSODs and at one point the computer wouldn't boot at all. A repair shop was able to get it running again, but they told me it likely still has some unresolved corruption issues on the C: drive SSD. Today the computer froze up completely no BSOD, just unresponsive, but luckily I was able to reboot. In the Event Viewer, there were a few errors with Event ID 41. I also checked S.M.A.R.T. status using Cr

    corruption error

    I just got this error:

A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume Windows.

A corruption was found in a file system index structure. The file reference number is 0x9000000000009. The name of the file is "<unable to determine file name>". The corrupted index attribute is ":$SII:$INDEX_ALLOCATION".

I did a disk check and everything was fine.

This install of Windows is only like 2 weeks old (it's a factory restored image after a BSOD start up problem). It's been running great the whole time.

I did have a hybrid sleep scare tonight that made me think my PC spontaneously rebooted but an HP tech helped me out with adjusting those settings before the error.

  3. Been getting BSODs, sometimes stuck in Aptio BIOS

I see the instances of these:

A corruption was found in a file system index structure. The file reference number is 0x9000000000009. The name of the file is "<unable to determine file name>". The corrupted index attribute is ":$SII:$INDEX_ALLOCATION".

Please do a CHKDSK scan and post the results:

  4. Windows 10 corrupt index attributes ":$SDH:$INDEX_ALLOCATION" and ":$SII:$INDEX_ALLOCATION"

Event Viewer: A corruption was found in a file system index structure. The file reference number is 0xb00000005af5c.

I was playing a game on my laptop and suddenly, after closing it, the laptop restarted out of nowhere. No bluescreen or anything. Then it proceeded to restart 2 times after that, and it only stopped when i shut it down normally. In event viewer i found many errors relating to "DistributedCOM" with and event id of 10010. Critical Kernel Power Error. I also found this under Ntfs (Ntfs):

A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume C:.

A corruption was found in a file system index structure. The file reference number is 0xb00000005af5c. The name of the file is "\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Definition Updates\{79890269-F824-4EFE-93D6-EA077C575057}". The corrupted index attribute is ":$I30:$INDEX_ALLOCATION".

I have no idea what it means or whether it may have caused the restarts.
