    Hi all,

    Recently I have a problem with windows 10, it's a long one so sit tight. On Saturday, I just got back to my dorm, booted up my laptop as normal, everything seemed normal so I just went to have a shower while its loading up. When I got back to it, I noticed everything starts acting really slow and so I open task manager to check what's happening, but it is frozen, and when I closes it, it crashed. I have no access to the Internet for some reason, and I have no access to settings or the search bar, not responding. I went ahead and contacted a person for support, rolled back the version or whatever and seemed fine.

    The next day, I did the same thing, but just watched it instead of taking a shower, all the problem comes back, same thing again, did a file scan and said no corruption. So now I'm backing up my laptop for a factory reset, can anyone tell me what's the problem and how to prevent?

    Laptop-Rog Strix Scar II Gl_504GW

    Cpu:Intel i7 8th gen

    Gpu:Nvidia RTX 2080

    Ram:12gb

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
