Windows 10: Windows 10 crash on entering not wake up Sleep mode, this happens only after 3-5 days....

This is an issue I've been tackling for quite a time. It is really painful that when crash on sleep mode entering happens, computer stops from going to sleep stays in unusable state and only way out is a complete reboot.It is important to note that it is not number of times I put computer to sleep, it is is usually the elapsed time from last reboot causes the issue like after 3-5 days. Before issue occurs sleep works flawlessly even for prolong overnight sleeps.I have updated to latest drives and made power management PCIe for GPU link state power management to off as well. Original Title: 10 Upgrade - won't wake up

I upgraded from 7 2 days ago. Still can't get a clean "wake up" from sleep mode - takes 3-5 minutes to start. I don't know if 10 is still installing files for the first few days or if this is going to be the norm. Any feedback?

Thank you for keeping us posted.

I would suggest you to try the steps below to open the power troubleshooter

1. Press Windows key + R to open the run command.

2. Type control and press enter to open control panel.

3. Type troubleshooting in the control panel search box.

4. On the left side, click on "troubleshooting".

5. Click "view all" on the left pane.

6. Run the power troubleshooter.

To make sure your devices are set to wake the computer up, I would suggest you to follow the steps below:

  1. Press Windows key + R
  
  2. Type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
  
  3. Expand keyboard, it will display your keyboard, right click and go to properties.
  
  4. Select Power management.
  
  5. Check Allow this device to wake the computer.

BSOD every time PC wakes from sleep mode

I have disabled the memory overclock in the bios and did so days ago. All suggestions have been followed with it at 1600. Please see images.







Re: the compatibilty of hardware. I have had the system for over 5 years with all the same components apart from the GPU which was swapped 3 years ago. I have never had any issues until this problem started a several weeks ago.
