Windows 10: windows 10 crash

Hello, I have quite the problem going on.


Today I was working on my computer- on windows 10 which had been installed since the free upgrade last year, and had had no previous problems with had a major malfunction.


I went to reconnect my network adapter; a linksys usb in the back of my desktop, and when I returned to my computer screen the computer was stating that there was an update failure and shut down. this was after it had been working just fine a little earlier in the day

Upon booting the system back up I got another error message stating that windows could not start properly. I tried going into my BIOS settings to prioritize the SSD that contained the OS and the system continued to fail in starting up. I was then prompted with a "restore windows but keep files" option which I selected. Then, upon the system booting up, it loads into the previous Windows 7 64bit I had installed and all my files were missing! I've checked my sata cables, tried scanning for my Hard drives 2 disk drives which I partitioned to hold different media/files and none of them are registering. It's like it reset to factory standards and now I can't get the windows 10 back on my pc nor my much needed files from the disks that had nothing to do with the OS. Is there any explanation or known bug that could have done this?!

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

all games crash!

ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.
