  1. Windows 10 crashes unless thundeebolt-1 connected - MacBook air 2013

    Hi Microsoft Community,

I recently installed Windows 10 on my MacBook air 2013. However, I just noticed something weird going on.

When booting into windows, it crashes in the login screen and restarts over and over. However, if an ethernet cable is plugged on the thunderbolt-1 port when booting, there is no log crash. I can iniciate windows normally.

Furthermore, if I ever disconnect the ethernet cable, Windows will keep running normally but the thunderbolt-1 port will never work again unless I restart the computer.

Drivers from bootcamp are installed so I was wondering 1 why I can load into windows only when the thundebolt port is working, and 2 why the thundebolt port stops working if apple drivers are installed.

    Best,

    Miguel

    :)

  3. install windows 10 to boot camp of a MacBook Air

    Hi all,

My MacBook Air is mid 2013 (6,1). I upgrade the OS to 10.14.6 and then tried to install a Windows 10 through the book camp assistant. After several steps until EFI started, it kept on restarting and could not continue the installation. The stop code is
"critical process died". I tried all options suggested in the support page "https://www.windows.com/stopcode" but none works.

Anyone has the same experience and any solution please?

    Best regards,

    Felix

Windows 10 crashes unless thundeebolt-1 connected - MacBook air 2013

Windows 10 On A MacBook Air

I have a MacBook Air (late 2013) running OSX 10.10.4. (Yosemite). Since my MacBook has no CD drive (for loading Windows 10) and isn't touch screen do you think putting Windows 10 in a partition makes sense.

I don't want to buy it if I won't gain the best aspects of the the program.

    Thank you !
