Windows 10: Windows 10 crashing and hanging apps

Hello everyone, I desperately need assistance as soon as you can. Whenever I try to open up certain apps, mainly ones linked to Microsoft , my apps go no further than the loading screen before shutting down. I’ve had multiple attempts to try and fix it, using posts that’s from here along with YouTube. Whenever I seem to be making progress in the command prompt or windows power shell, they either can’t find the problem or I get a display of error messages. I assume that some important files are missing from my PC, that should make it possible to use these applications. My question is would w

When I checked out my windows security it said "Hanging or crashing apps". I can't find where to fix this. I am no computer techie so any suggestions please in plain English.
