Windows 10: Windows 10 Cumulative update 21H1 KB5010342 repeat update attempt

Update history shows the 2022-02 cumulative update for Windows 10 21H1 KB5010342 successfully updated on 2/20/22 in the second entry. The latest entry says the same update failed to install on 2/22/22 3 times with an error code 0x80070003. The Windows update page wants to try and perform the update again with the same exact version The Update page says "Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later." Update troubleshooter runs, completes but does not find any problems. Why would it claim to have successfully updated to this version but st

Windows Update KB5010342 fails to install Windows 10 version 21H1

Sorry for the late reply @steve108
After I completed the Repair with In-Place Upgrade successfully, Windows tried installing CU (KB5010342)
It failed, unfortunately, along with another CU for .NET Framework

I'm guessing another attempt by restarting the PC will likely fail the second time too

I would've lost a bet that a restart wouldn't install the security update (s)
