Windows 10: Windows 10 & CyberGhost 8.3 Connection VPN Problem

Using build-in VPN-Connection with CyberGhost


Hi all,

this is my first post here and just before starting I want to let you know that english is not my native language. So please do not laugh, if I'm using a word incorrectly or make mistakes building a sentence. I promise to do my very best.

I use Windows 10 Professional (64bit). And it comes with a build in VPN-Connection. I want to use it with my CyberGhost Premium Account (I use CyberGhost for Youtube as many music videos are blocked in Germany but visible in the US).

I used the client software from CyberGhost before and if I was connected to a VPN-Server I had the IP Address of these server. Now I want to use as less software as possible, so I decided to use the Windows build in Connection.

I followed the "How to configure L2TP (with IPSec)" Guide.
Even if its written for Windows 8 I have done the same steps in Windows 10.

But after connecting to the VPN I can still see my IP Address from my german provider. I was expecting to see an IP from the country in which I have connected to a server.

Does anyone have an idea or maybe a solution?

 

Windows 10 & CyberGhost Connection Problems

Hi.

I have a Windows 10 PC and a Windows 10 laptop and since May 14 I have been getting a "Network 2 No Internet" connection message whenever I have my CyberGhost VPN connected. I can still surf the web; however, the websites come up very slowly. I cannot connect
to my Windows apps, such as Weather or Camera, however.

I do not know if this is a result of any of new Windows updates or any Adobe updates. I have this problem on both my HP PC and my HP laptop. My HP PC has all the latest updates; however, my HP laptop was last updated on April 21, 2018. I have contacted CyberGhost
and it has informed me that many people are having the same problem that I am since the updates. Up until May 14, my CyberGhost VPN was working perfectly.

Can anyone give me suggestions on what I can do about this problem? If you need any more necessary information I will be happy to give it.

I can't connect to the minecraft server after downloaded CyberGhost VPN

After I downloaded the CyberGhost VPN, I can't connect to the minecraft server.

Even I've already deleted the CyberGhost VPN, I still cannot connect to the minecraft server.

I've found different soloutions in the internet already, such as reset DNS, change DNS to OpenDNS, close firewall once and many other solutions, but no one can help me.

Although I know that asking question about minecraft in the site of Microsoft may not be suitable, but I already tried many times but still can't connect to the network of minecraft. I really need help, please help me.
