Windows 10 Date Format Reverting to Default

The formatting of the date of my OS continually reverts back to the regional standard. It will stay for somewhere between 5 minutes to 2 hours long enough for me to miss it when it changes back. This is particularly annoying because all of the date stamps in MS Office inherit the OS format. This is a company computer that is under Group Policy administration. as such I do not have admin rights. If this is an issue caused by my group policy, How do I isolate the cause of this reversion? Then, how do I stop this reversion? If this is caused by the Group Policy administrations how do I identify

    :)

Windows 10 Lock Screen date format

We appreciate the information that you've given. This issue may have occurred due to the selected Format under Region. There are locations that happen to follow a certain date and time format. To correct the format, we suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Press Windows icon + X and select Control Panel.
    • On the Control Panel window, select Clock, Language, and Region.
    • Under Region, select Change date, time, or number formats.
    • On the Region window, under Formats tab, select
English (United States) on the drop-down menu on Format.
    • Click Apply and OK.
    • Check your lock screen. (Attached is a reference photo)

    Hi,

Yep, I have done that, but ALL my files, documents etc; are now showing in the American format so appear in the incorrect date sequence in my folders.
