Windows 10: Windows 10 Deactivated Itself and will reactivate on restart but deactivates after an hour...

I purchased this Corsair prebuild computer in 2012. It came with Win 7 then was upgraded to Win8 and finally Win10 Home on the free upgrade . It's been my daily PC and I never had this activation issue on it before. Today it began showing me this watermark about how Windows is not activated. I tried going to Settings and Activation and I get the following message:"We can't activate Windows on this device because you don't have a valid digital license or product key. If I deactivated my version of Windows 10 pro, and reinstalled it on the same PC, will I be able to use the same product key again on the same machine? And are there any steps I should take prior to deactivation, in order to ensure that the product key
can be used again?
