    Windows 10 Defender not removing old warning


    Hi all,


    After using a cd-rom from a friend of mine windows defender notified me that there is a trojan horse on it. Now that i have removed that cd and "obliterated" it, Windows defender still keeps informing me of that trojan.. how do i remove that warning now the cd is gone? Even a new full scan does not find anything further on my pc but it does not clear the warning of the trojan on the cd drive location. i did not even touch that file. Now i need the message to go away.

    Remove Scan with Windows Defender

    I've updated step 3 in OPTION ONE below. It should work for you now. Windows 10 Defender not removing old warning :)
