Windows 10 Demanding PIN After Update

I updated my 15" laptop this morning and it will not allow me sign in unless I create a PIN. I have a password but there is no option to use it. I have circumvented the PIN to access the settings but the is NO option to sign in with a password. If I reboot I have to go through the nonsense again, getting sent a security code to sign in which requires me to boot up my 17" laptop to access my email. Why does Microsoft have to make everything so difficult? I DON"T want a PIN. I DON'T need a PIN. I have tried every suggestion I can find to disable it including changing the registry, nothing is wor

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
